Heather has always been interested in photography. In grade school her parents gave her a 110 film camera.  (You might have to look that up!) In junior high she used her parents 35 mm camera to take her first photography class and learned to print photos in B&W.  Her family and pets were a constant source for subject matter.  During high school she was the photographer for the school paper and then on the yearbook staff. She also entered a photo contest or two. In college she thought she was going to study architecture but once she took a photography class "for fun" she knew it was going to become her focus and she changed her major.
